With three games of the Premiership season to go, there's realistically 5 teams battling to avoid finishing in the bottom three and the ignomany of losing their top tier status.

West Brom already seemed doomed after failing to take anything in the must win game against Tottenham at the weekend so it's really four into 2.

Maybe we shouldn't write West Brom off though. At least they're showing some fight and desire to stay in the EPL. They're battling and scrapping for everything they can get and if they can manage to pull off another great escape then they'll have deserved it.

That same desire can't be easily seen in the other four however.

Hull tonight looked lacklustre and a beaten side short of confidence. They battled for the last ten minutes sure but if I had been a Hull fan watching that performance at Villa Park this evening I'd have felt short changed. That was a disgraceful team performance from a Club battling for their lives.

They might still stay up because the sides below them are even worse. That's what will probably also save Sunderland.

Newcastle looked like they could have easily shipped ten against Liverpool and Middlesborough are still boring everyone shitless, like they've been doing pretty much their whole Premiership existence.

With those two meeting next Monday, defeat for either should spell curtains. What's the odds on a no score bore draw though?

The big money is there for the taking once again for two of these Clubs. At some point somebody is going to have to step up to show that they want it and there's not a lot of time left.
