The romance of the FA Cup seems to leave the competition the further it goes on and the bigger sides take over.

Trying to get a bit of romance in a hotel on the Oregon coast isn't so easy, at least in a football sense.

With the game starting to make some good inroads in North America, it's disappointing that so many fans can't have ready access to one of the game's showcase events.

Setanta have the rights to show the FA Cup Final in the US and Canada and as great a service as they provide, it does deprive many fans and potential fans of watching what many feel is the highlight in the calendar of the English game.

With the burgeoning interest in watching illegal online streams through the likes of Justin.tv and Ustream, the footballing authorities in the UK really need to make sure that they make their showcase matches are readily accessible to as many people on a worldwide stage as possible.

In the meantime, I'll just have to wait until I get home tomorrow evening to watch what happened.
